Treeman Woodmonk Full Stag Sambar Crotch Horsehide & Buffalo Sheath

This J.Behring Treeman Handmade Woodmonk hasd a 5 1/2" hand forged blade made of the very best 1095 just like old man Ruana used back in the old days.  I  hammered this blade down to about .150/.160  so it will slice through meat and hide like a hot razor knife in butter. The brass guard is silver soldered. The hidden tang handle has a stack of hand cut spacers  with a wide hidden tang that runs almost to the end of the butt. The handle on this classic hunter is a rare piece of real red sambar stag . Handle is pinned and I  also added a brass lined thong hole . The sheath is over the top  . Hand made special just for this knife . I  used horsehide  and american buffalo hide and stitched it up with a heavy duty tan stitch. Brass rivets and high quality snaps make this sheath a working piece of art you can enjoy for many years and pass down . Priced to sell. Thanks for looking, Jim Behring
