Treeman Small Hunter with old Stag Nickel Guard pinned butt Cap Exotic sheath

This  Treeman knife has a hand forged 1095 steel 3 3/4" Blade .150 thick and convex ground . Guard is silver soldered and nickel silver. Nickel silver is extremely hard to find in any thickness over  1/8". I like 3/16 or a 1/4" thickness for my guards.   I was at the Blade show in June. Biggest knife show in the world. I was lucky  to find 6- 12" x 1" bars of nickel in the entire show. Talked to most of the serious knife making supply people and they all tell me there just isn't any to buy unless you order tons of it.  So if you like Nickel Guards and butt caps better get them wile you can. To think I used to cut up 100 oz bars of .999 silver for guards on my Ivory knives back when it was cheap.  I hear all the nickel is being used for Glass top battery's. ???  Any way this is a wonderful little hunter with a 100 plus year old German stag handle . Came off of and old carving knife dated back to pre 1920.  Pinned butt cap made of nickel. OAL is about 7 3/4".  Sheath is made to fit with and Ostrich leg front panel and stainless rivets.  Thanks, Jim TMK
