Treeman Knives Scagel style camp Axe

This Treeman Knives Scagel style camp axe is hand forged from high carbon 1095 steel, The axe is about .250" thick and has a convex grind from pole to 0 at the cutting edge. The head is about 3.5" wide and cutting face about 3" The silver soldered guard is brass above a stack of red, black, aluminum, tan and hand cut horse hide spacers. The tang runs almost out the back of the vintage mule deer stag butt and is pinned. The butt plate is also brass and pinned and epoxied into place with two ton. OAL is about 12" The belt carry sheath is medium brown with heavy duty stitching and brass hardware. Priced to sell.
