Treeman Hammermark Fossil Ivory Camp Knife
This J. Behring handmade camp has a handforged 7 1/2 hammermark blade beat down to about 1/4" thick. made od vintage studebaker spring steel . The blade has a nice tember line and real deep double cris stamps. The silver soldered guard is nickel silver. the hidden tang handle is a bad ass hunk of killer artifact fossil ivory , might have been part of an old sled runner or some kind of larger cross member . Very nice color and nice darmk rough bark. I used some of my special butterscotch spacer material along with some old westinghouse micarta with nickel and black. really sets of the old ivory . Overall length is about 13" Comes in a mosher custom made cattail sheath. Priced to sell. Thanks, Jim
