Treeman hammermark Copper back Bowie Artifact Walrus Ivory Fire Bowl Sled runner handle
This One of a kind Hammersmark Copper back Bowie has a hand forged 11 1/4" blade made of old school 5160 M spring steel. Blade is a fill .250 thick and hollow ground with a razor sharp cutting edge. The Copper back is pinned and silver soldered so when you snatch your opponent knife out of his hand after a back swing you don't have to worry about it ever coming lose or raising like I have seen in some other X brand big brass backs. The double guard is nickel silver and silver soldered. The hidden tang runs back about 4 1/2? and is about 1/2" tall x .250 thick. The massive Artifact Walrus handle has a fire bowl on one side and is stabilized with wonderful color and looks like it might have been a sled runner part at one time or another thousands of years ago. . Nice stack of hand cut spacers in earth tones to set it off. A knife with no spacers suck ! The Ivory handle is pinned with two ton epoxy for a life time hold. OAL is 18 1/2". The custom made sheath is all top shelf HO leather with stainless steel custom made rivets and an Elephant Ear insert. Heavy stitch in gold and a leg tie down on the back side. Overall a Badd Ass Big Ivory Bowie that is truly a one of a kind and priced to sell. Legal Ivory so no worries there. Thanks, Jim
