J. Behring Treeman Alaskan Stag-Stag Hammermark Anvil Stamp

This J. Behring Handmade Treeman Alaskan Skinner has a 5 "hand forged 5160 spring steel hollow ground hammer mark blade.   I used my Treeman handmade Anvil stamp on it and the 2017 USA date stamp on the back side. Silver soldered nickel  guard with a nice joint and perfect radius so your thumb can rest against it for good control when cutting and skinning game.  The handle is stabilized Red Sambar stag with a heavy duty hidden tang that runs almost to the end of the butt. The spacers are all hand cut and the butt is pinned. The color in this stag is over the top with real nice bark matching grain from section to section with a swell in the handle so it will feel good in just about every hand. OAL is about 9 3/4". Comes in a TMK leather shop handmade horse hide lined pouch sheath made to fit the knife. Solid stainless  rivets at the critical points of the sheath to keep it all to gether for a few hundred years.  Knives like this don't come together very often.
