* J. Behring Treeman 9" CRIS Fighter
* J. Behring Treeman 9" CRIS Fighter
This is a first for me and it only took me about 20 years to get around to it. I hand forged this blade from some good old school 5160M spring steel. Pain to hammer and a pain to grind but in the end a real neat fighter. Double edge blade and about 1/4" thick . Blade is about 9 1/4" long and with this point will penatrate a pig with no effort at all. I left the center forge rough and it adds to the over all old school look. Silver soldered nickel guard with a pinned sambar stag handle. Tang runs dam near to the end of the handle. I finished it off with a select piece of stabilized Musk Ox bark. This butt cap is on to stay no matter what. Its all one piece now. Comes in a TMK Leather shop elephant hide and leather belt sheath. Great knife and its # 1 ... Signed and numbered. priced to sell. Thanks, Jim Behring
