Scagel Replica Style Two Handed Axe

Order Only ! You can order this two handed axe and have it in 4 to 12 weeks.  Reason they say Scagel made very few axes was because there labor intense. The book says there is only one two handed axe ever made by the old man himself. This Scagel replica I made is about 18 1/2" from end to end. The head is 4 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" cutting edge . Two handed handle is 10 3/8" long and feels great in the hand or hands. The Guard is Brass Nickel Brass triple stacked guard. The Handle is Stacked horsehide and a killer old crown stag pinned butt. I used vintage 5160M spring steel on this axe and its a full .250 thick. Razor sharp and comes with a fancy tooled sheath made here in my leather shop by Rocco.
