J.Behring Handmade Scagel Style old school Hunter

This triditional old school Scagel style Treeman hunter has the look and feel of what a hunting knife should be all about. If you like Pre 64 winchester rifles and shoot grouse with a side by side 28 guage and collect classic cars and still remember what its like to use a rotary dial phone ! Your old school ! This is an old school classic hand made hand forge hunter with a 5 3/8" long blade thats hammered down to about .190 thick. Not with an air hammer but with my arm and hammer. Old school. Hand forged knives are not made with a power hammer. This blade is convex ground and sharp as hell. Deep stamps and a silver soldered brass guard that will protect your fingers from sliping past the guard. The hidden tang handle is all hand cut stacked horse hide with old school brick red ,black and brass. Really nice stabilized south dakota crotch stag butt with a lined thong hole. OAL is about 10 1/2". Perfect swell in the handle to make it fit well no matter what size hand you have. The sheath is like no other and its lined with Horsehide and stitched  perfectly with solid brass rivets. Best leather you will fine ! Great old school knife and priced to sell.
