J. Behring Handmade Scagel Style Hunter crotch Horse Hide

This J. Behring handmade Hunter has a 5 3/4" blade .250 thick of hand forged 1095 steel. Oatterned off of a Scagel I looked at last year at the Tulsa Gun show. Very nice blade shape and just the right lines and curves to make it all flow. Choil for easy sharpening and a silver soldered brass guard. Hidden tang hadle has a one off spacer arrangement with horsehide and a pinned crotch stag butt. Tang runs almost to the end of the butt. OAL is about 11 1/4". Comes in a made to fit Beaver tail belt sheath.  Priced to sell and just in time for the holidays. Buy a man a sweater and it will be in the goodwill donation bag in a year or two. Buy hime a quality hand made knife and it will get passed down to the next generation and the next. Thanks, Jim
