J. Behring Handmade Scagel Style Crotch Stag Hunter-Skinner

This J. Behring Treeman Scagel style hunter/skinner has a hand forged 6 " blade made of vintage studebaker spring. Hand hammered down to around .200 or so with a convex grind and a razor sharp edge. The brass guard is silver soldered and the handle has a wonderful stack of hand cut green,black,thin maroon,brass and the last of the westinghouse white ivory micarta "turns yellow" in time. Horsehide with a mule deer crotch stag butt. Nice extra long handle . One of a kind custom fit and made high quality Herman Oaks leather belt sheath.
