J. Behring Handmade Michigan Hunter Crown Stag

This is a true classic scagel style hunter. The convex ground 1095 high carbon hand forged blade is about 4 1/2" long with a silver soldered brass guard. The one of a kind spacer stack has a few thick black fiber  mixed in with some brick red and thin white and brass. Horsehide  the rest of the way back to a premium crown stag pinned butt.  Nice swelled handle  and just the right length to fit just about and hand. Overall length is  about9". Comes in a Treeman leather shop antiqed Black Cherry belt sheath with brass rivets and a brown #7 stitch. I signed the back of the sheath and dated it. Blade was hammered out in 2014 and the knife was finished up thae past few days and the sheath was made today.  Great knife at a wonderful price. Thanks, Jim Behring
