J. Behring Handmade Hunter Stag

 This J. Behring Hand Forged Hunter is the perfect size knife for just about any task.  Blade is 4 3/4" 0.190 thick hand hammered old school high carbon studebaker spring.  I made it with a nice tlong top clip and started the cutting edge sweep at the guard and carried it all the way to the tip ,nice lines this way ! Studebaker spring steel is awsome for a working knife. High carbon very tough and  USA made at a foundry in Ohio back in the good old days.. ! Blade has nice deep stamps with the USA and Lazy S studebaker spring logo stamp on the back side. Guard is brass and silver soldered. Hidden tang handle is hand cut spacers of maroon/red black and brass. Pinned Sambar stag  handle with a long tang that runs dam near to the end of the handle for added strength. OAL is about 9 5/8" . The TMK leather shop Rocco belt sheath is top shelf hand made to fit the knife. Not a knife stuffed in a sheath that fit OK like many do these days. Our leather is all one of a kind hand cut no dies.
