J. Behring Handmade Deer & Trout AAA Exibition Grade Sambar Stag

This Treeman handmade Deer & trout has a 4" hand forged blade about .180 thick with a little bit of sweep and a nice big choli for years of easy sharpening. I used the TREEMAN Anvil stamp on this blade along with the USA on the back side. Blade steel is 5160 M and RC is about 57. The guard is silver soldered and fit just right to flow with the hidden tang handle. I hand cut some green, brass, black and vintage Westinghouse ivory micarta for the premium AAA sambar stag handle. Pinned handle and contoured butt cap. Nice swell with a crows beak so it fits your hand very well. This stag has been stabilized with epoxy resin so it’s impervious to the elements and cracking or ever drying out. OAL is about 8 3/4". Brian made a custom fit belt sheath to complete this package.
