J. Behring Handmade Alaskan hammermark Stag-Ivory

The next hunting trip I go on you can bet this will be the knife I take with me ! Or one just like it . This Alaskan style hunter has a hand forged hammermark 1095 high carbon blade with a hollow grind hammermarks left in . Nickel silver, silver soldered guard . hidden tang that runs back way past the nickel pin for a super strong handle.  The sambar stag on this knife is about as nice as it gets, Wonderful blonde color with a nice rich grain all finished off with a hand fit piece of Ivory bark with a thin black spacer between the stag and ivory for contrast. It will never come off or move the way I attatch them.  Spacers are hand cut and stacked  vintage green yellow, copper and black really pop with the stag. Extra long handle for a good grip and cross hatch old school thumb notches  hand done. Nice deep stamps. The sheath is custom made Treeman leather shop full cover belt style. All high end herman oaks leather with a #7 heavy stitch ,stainless steel rivets. Made to last a life time or two with propper care. Great knife at a fair price and all 100% handmade in Michigan.
