J. Behring Handmade Alaskan Artifact Walrus Ivory Sled Runner handle
This Treeman handmade Hammermark Alaskan Skinner has a 5 1/2" hand forged blade made of 5160 m spring steel. Hand hammered old school down to about .250 thick with a nice deep hollow grind. The silver soldered guard is nickel silver. The hidden tang handle is a stabilized piece of acient artifact walrus ivory sled runner. Great color and a natural bored hole for a lanyard . This old Ivory is sabilized so it will last anouth several thousand years. OAL is about 10 1/2". I used some of my old stash of the maroon vulcanized fiber and date stamped the blade . Comes in a TMK leather shop Rocco made horsehide lined heavy duty pouch sheath . Stainless steel solid rivets and a heavy stitch. Made to fit and protect the knife . This is a one of a kind knife for the working man. Priced to sell. Thanks, Jim
