J. Behring Fox River 5" Stag Horse Hide Aluminum Beaver Tail Sheath

This J. Behring Handmade Fox River is about as good as it gets for an all around heavy duty hunting knife. The 5 " long .250 thick 1095 blade is all hand forged  and convex ground with a choil and deep stamps. The blade is wide  1 7/8" and has just enough sweep to give it a better look and more cutting edge.The silver soldered brass guard is just the thing when it comes to slippery hands and sharp knives. The extra long hidden tang handle has a heavy tang that runs almost to the end of the air craft aluminum crows beak but. Butt is pinned so it will never come off ! The randall style Model 25 trapper handle has stacked horse hide with premium sambat stag and all compressed and held together with two ton epoxy and again pinned with a /18" rod.  I drilled a lanyard hole and used a stout strip of 14oz harness leather for a lantard. The Tmk leather shop sheath is badd to the beaver and all heavy stitched with solid brass rivets. Tie down on the back side too. OAL is about 10 1/8".  Great knife and priced to sell. These stag aluminum knives are a ton of extra work. Thats why you dont see any body hardly making them any more. Thanks, Jim
