J.Behring Handmade Mopar Fordite Trout & Bird

This Bird & Trout has a razor sharp 3.25" long convex ground blade, hand forged from high carbon 1095 and is about .084" thick. The stamps are J.Behring Handmade and 22 USA Michigan. The silver soldered guard is nickel silver above a stack of black, aluminum, red, and tan spacers. The handle is made from late 60's Mopar paint from the Lynch road plant. AKA Fordite. This material is hard to find in the thick slabs required to make a hidden tang knife. averaging $5-$8 per gram of weight.
