*Treeman Hammermark 9 1-2 " Camp IVORY BUTT

This J.Behring Treeman handmade old school handforged hammermark camp knife has a 9 1/2" long .250 thick hollow ground blade. I used the treeman anvil stamp and the 2015 date stamp on the back side. The nickel silver guard is silver soldered the hidden tang handle has a wonderful real red sambar stag pinned with a nickel .125 preened rod. I finished of the butt with a great piece of ivory bark not just glued on , I. Drill a multitude of small angular holes in the cap and butt then full with two ton epoxy. Never come apart unless you beat it with a hammer. The sheath is made in our leather shop and best of all we used Herman oaks old world harness leather it's made old school like it was made pre WW1. The only other maker I know of that uses this is the old master Ed Fowler . It's some of the very best hard core and most expensive leather there is. Overall length is about 15 1/2". Great knife for a man that like a big old school scagelTreeman style  camp knife. Priced to sell. Thanks. Jim
