Early Randall 1947 Trout & Bird Belgian Congo ivory silver guard

This is a chance of a life time for a Randall collector. Made by Bo Randall himself 1 of the first 9 made?
SKU: Congo
Availability: Out of stock

Bo Randall made trout and bird knife is one you dont see very often. .This knife  was made in the 1946/ 47 .The  blade is in near mint all original  condition and 3 7/8" long with a nice even  patina. Exactly what is suppose to be. The stamp is clear and deep with Herb Wasson TT engraved on the back side of the blade. The guard is sterling  silver and tarnished with age.  . The handle is original Congo ivory and in great shape with a wonderful crack running down the top side of the 4.5" long handle with a silver pin.  Ivory cracks sometimes and it OK long as its not falling apart. This handle is still solid and cracks and patina is  expected for a 75 year old knife. Best thing is the blade has not been screwed with or cleaned at all. sharp grind lines and full. falls into the correct length and is about as nice as I have seen.  Sheath is heiser made denver  brown button and in exc  condition. Very rare and hard to find Randall. Priced to sell.Thanks. Jim Behring
