This J.Behring Treeman XL Big Bay Hunter is one I just might keep. Pitchures do it no justice. Stag/Aluminum knives are a thing of the past because there labor intense and take much longer to make than most knives. If you have ever ground aluminum handles you know what I am talking about. Randall knives made a Model 14 with a slotted aluminum finger grip handle sometime back. They made one and said to hell with that. I have made a few for friends that are Randall collecors. Made one for Wayne R . and he had the RANGER tab engraved on the side of the handle . BADDASS ! This GEM has a 6" razor sharp convex blade with choil, handforged from 1095 high carbon steel and is about .175" thick. Thin is in and it cuts fast and slides through meat and muscle like butter. The flawless silver solidered guard is a double cartridge quality brass. Spacers are black red brass and white. The handle is real red sambar stag with a killer translucent look to it thats hard to find in stag. The crows beak butt is aircraft aluminum with thong hole. OAL is about 11.25" The sheath is high grade leather belt with our signature antique finish. Complete with brass hardware and heavy stitching. Priced to sell. Thank You.
